These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Petal & Paw website and to the purchase of services, consultations, digital products and physical products offered by Petal & Paw.
Petal & Paw is a trading name of InnerBloom Health Limited ("Petal & Paw", "we", "us" or "our").
By using this website, booking a consultation, purchasing a product or otherwise engaging with Petal & Paw, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Petal & Paw
Petal & Paw provides animal naturopathy and wellness services intended to support the general health and wellbeing of companion animals.
Our services may include animal naturopathy consultations, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, wellness plans, educational resources, courses and other animal wellbeing services.
Our services are complementary in nature and are intended to work alongside appropriate veterinary care.
Petal & Paw does not replace your veterinarian or veterinary services.
2. Veterinary Care and Emergency Situations
Petal & Paw does not provide emergency veterinary services.
If your animal is experiencing an emergency, severe pain, difficulty breathing, collapse, significant bleeding, poisoning, seizures, sudden deterioration or another condition requiring urgent attention, you should contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic immediately.
You should not delay seeking veterinary care because of information provided by Petal & Paw.
Where appropriate, Petal & Paw may recommend that you consult your veterinarian or another suitably qualified animal health professional.
3. Individualised Advice
Information and recommendations provided by Petal & Paw are based on the information you provide about your animal, including their history, diet, lifestyle, environment and current health concerns.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.
If important information is withheld, inaccurate or changes after a consultation, recommendations may no longer be appropriate.
Where relevant, you should inform Petal & Paw of any veterinary diagnosis, medication, supplements or other treatments your animal is currently receiving.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Every animal is different and individual responses to nutritional, lifestyle and complementary wellness recommendations will vary.
Petal & Paw does not guarantee a particular health outcome or result from any consultation, recommendation, wellness plan, product or educational resource.
Our recommendations are intended to support your animal's wellbeing and are not a guarantee of preventing, diagnosing, treating or curing any disease or condition.
5. Veterinary Treatment and Medication
Petal & Paw does not recommend that you discontinue, alter or replace prescribed veterinary medication or treatment without first discussing this with your veterinarian.
Where an animal has an existing medical condition, is taking medication, is pregnant or lactating, or has other circumstances that may affect its care, additional professional veterinary advice may be appropriate.
Pet owners remain responsible for following their veterinarian's instructions and for ensuring their animal receives appropriate veterinary care.
6. Consultations
Consultations may be provided online, by telephone, in person or by another method specified at the time of booking.
The information required before a consultation may include your animal's:
name, age and breed
medical and health history
current diet
medications and supplements
lifestyle and environment
current concerns
veterinary history
other information relevant to the consultation.
You agree to provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
A consultation does not create an ongoing veterinary-client relationship with Petal & Paw.
7. Wellness Plans and Recommendations
Following a consultation, Petal & Paw may provide an individualised wellness plan or recommendations.
These recommendations are based on the information available at the time of the consultation.
Wellness plans are intended for the individual animal for whom they were prepared and should not be applied to another animal without appropriate professional advice.
You are responsible for monitoring your animal and seeking veterinary assistance if their condition changes, deteriorates or causes concern.
8. Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with as much notice as reasonably possible.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact Petal & Paw as soon as possible.
Where a cancellation or non-attendance occurs with insufficient notice, Petal & Paw may charge a cancellation or non-attendance fee where this has been disclosed at the time of booking.
Any cancellation fees will be communicated clearly before they apply.
9. Fees and Payment
All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars unless otherwise specified.
Payment is required at the time specified during booking or purchasing.
Petal & Paw reserves the right to change its prices from time to time. Price changes will not affect services or products already purchased unless otherwise agreed.
Where GST applies, prices will be displayed inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
10. Products
If Petal & Paw sells physical products, product descriptions, ingredients, directions for use and other relevant information will be provided on the website or product packaging.
Customers are responsible for reading product labels and following directions for use.
Products should be stored as directed and kept out of reach of children and animals where appropriate.
If your animal has a known medical condition, is taking medication, is pregnant or lactating, or you are unsure whether a product is appropriate, seek advice from your veterinarian or an appropriately qualified professional before use.
Petal & Paw will not knowingly sell products that do not comply with applicable New Zealand requirements.
11. Product Claims
Information about products and services on this website is provided accurately and in accordance with applicable New Zealand requirements.
Petal & Paw does not make claims that products or supplements diagnose, prevent, treat or cure disease unless such claims are legally permitted and applicable regulatory requirements have been met.

12. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights or remedies that you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
